These Terms govern your use of ReadsYou (readsyou.com). By using the service, you accept these Terms.
The service
ReadsYou is an AI-assisted relationship-pattern assessment. You have a structured conversation with our system; we generate a shareable summary, a free read, and (optionally) a paid full read.
The output is for personal reflection. It is not therapy, medical advice, legal advice, or a clinical diagnosis.
Eligibility
You must be 18 or older to use ReadsYou. By continuing, you confirm you meet this requirement.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the service for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract our prompts or models
- Submit content that violates others' rights
- Resell or redistribute reports as your own product
- Interfere with the service's operation
We may suspend or terminate access for violations.
Payments and refunds
Paid reads are processed by Stripe. Prices display in your local currency.
No refunds on delivered reports. Once a paid report has been generated, the purchase is final. If technical failure prevents delivery, contact contact@readsyou.com and we will regenerate or refund at our discretion.
Disputes initiated through your card issuer will be reviewed manually; we may provide transaction records to support our position.
Intellectual property
- Your conversation: you retain ownership of what you wrote.
- Free read and shareable: generated for your use; we retain ownership of the underlying prompts, models, and methodology.
- Paid read: you own your paid report and may use it for any personal purpose, including sharing it. You do not acquire rights to our prompts, methodology, or the underlying psychometric framework.
We retain the right to use anonymized, aggregated patterns from the service to improve quality.
Service availability
We provide the service "as is." We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or specific results from your report.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, ReadsYou is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, gross negligence, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.

Changes
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be posted here with an updated date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada, and applicable Canadian federal law. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Ontario, except where local law grants you a non-waivable right to your local courts.
Termination
You may stop using the service at any time. We may terminate access for Terms violations or to comply with law. Sections that by nature should survive termination (intellectual property, liability, governing law) survive.
